Uni-Verse
The Lord showed me an amazing thing—the beautiful and supernatural meaning of the word Universe.
Universe is divided into two parts: Uni meaning, “consisting of, relating to, or having only one,” and Verse meaning, “a single metrical line in a poetic composition; one line of poetry; the art or work of a poet.”
God started all this when He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light!—Genesis 1:3. God said, and there was! That “one verse—Uni-Verse” says it all! Not only was it the genesis of EVERYTHING, but God told us in Genesis 1:3—The First Book of the Bible, the First chapter, and the Third verse—The Beginning. The Three in One. The Trinity. The One True God. How powerful that one verse in Genesis is! IT IS THE GENESIS!!
Colossians 1:16 For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.
God created the whole Universe with the sound of His voice and by His Word. “Let there be light.” These are probably the most powerful words ever spoken.
Everything was created when God said, “Let there be light.” Everything was brought into existence from one line (uni) of God’s poetic artwork (verse). When God said, “Let there be light,” the Universe was manifested into existence by His sound.
Did you know that the light spectrum could only be ushered in by sound because light has a frequency? A standing sound wave with a frequency of 40,000 cycles per second generates 40,000 flashes of light per second that can be seen with the unaided eye.” —Google USLA Putterman Research Group.
That is incredible! That is A LOT of energy! That is like the sound of energy that raised Jesus from the dead! I marvel at the work of His hands!
Psalm 8:3-9
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon, and the stars, which You have set in place, what is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; You put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!
God, YOU ARE SO AMAZING!

God’s knowledge is absolute, unerring, complete, and intuitive. It embraces all things past, present, and future and searches the inmost thoughts of the heart.

Words We Speak To Ourselves
I wrote a blog a while back about how our words have incredible power. They carry the power of life and death in them and can make a difference in other people’s lives–positively or negatively.
Words
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat of its fruit.

So I was thinking about You, Holy Spirit, and this verse.
Holy Spirit, I want to hear You more, be more sensitive to Your voice, just be more aware of You period.
I want to think of You first.
I want to ask, “What do you want me to say or not say, Holy Spirit BEFORE I start flapping my lips and tongue?”
Kitchen Perspectives
While putting away the clean dishes from the dishwasher, the Holy Spirit interrupted my thoughts and asked me, “Why does Satan hate mankind so much?” It was actually a rhetorical question because He answered it for me. He said, “Because we (mankind) were created differently than he was. He was created to worship God without intimacy, as an image of God but not in the image of God. He was given free will but without a chance of repentance. One-and-done!”
Not If, But When
On April 2, 2015, we received a report and diagnosis. We were asked all kinds of questions like:
“How are your teeth?”
“You have regular dental checkups, correct?”
To then hear, “You don’t want to have any cavities or infections in your mouth.”
Renewing Your Mind
The number one need in a Christian’s life is a renewed mind.
Renewing your mind is not switching the “to-do list” of the world for the “to-do list” of God. It is literally a change from the inside out. The Holy Spirit renews our mind supernaturally as we spend time in God’s Word.
Faith Is Not A Feeling
Have you ever read the book Faith is not a Feeling by Ney Bailey? Don’t feel bad; I haven’t either. I have, however, been thinking a lot about the title and how it applies to me in my everyday life and circumstances.
By His Spirit
As I look around our world, I see God beginning to move in incredible ways. Things are shifting. Acceleration is not only coming–it is here! It is an exciting time to be alive, but harrowing things are happening around us. It can get a little overwhelming if we allow ourselves to focus on the bad instead of all the good God is doing.
