Faith Will

Without faith, it’s impossible to please God. —Hebrews 11:6

God’s knowledge is absolute, unerring, complete, and intuitive. It embraces all things past, present, and future and searches the inmost thoughts of the heart.
Man’s knowledge is partial, imperfect, relative, gradually acquired, and largely mixed with error.

Waiting In His Sheepfold

I would like to share a story with you.
The other day, I visited a church in a small town. I had been there 5-10 times over the last 15 years. The pastors who presided there had come as a young couple and built the church up through the solid teaching of the Word, their love for the community, and consistent dedication to serve. They had their children and raised them there with their church family. They had bloomed alongside the church body, which appeared to be healthy and strong.

Words

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat of its fruit.
—Proverbs 18:21

So I was thinking about You, Holy Spirit, and this verse.
Holy Spirit, I want to hear You more, be more sensitive to Your voice, just be more aware of You period.
I want to think of You first.
I want to ask, “What do you want me to say or not say, Holy Spirit BEFORE I start flapping my lips and tongue?”

While putting away the clean dishes from the dishwasher, the Holy Spirit interrupted my thoughts and asked me, “Why does Satan hate mankind so much?” It was actually a rhetorical question because He answered it for me. He said, “Because we (mankind) were created differently than he was. He was created to worship God without intimacy, as an image of God but not in the image of God. He was given free will but without a chance of repentance. One-and-done!”
